The Ace Cafe Retro Toyota Gathering..

4 Months after the first digital flyer went up, the gathering has now come and gone. And to be quite honest, I'm a little bit sad. It was such a great day out in the sunshine with the perfect venue and it went off without a hitch.

The day went better than I'd hoped, with around 30 various old Toyota's in attendance. Although small in numbers, the variety was staggering with everything from a concours Toyota Crown Coupe and TA22 Celica to daily drivers to pure grip and drift cars. Eight-Six and the Corolla Brotherhood were in full force and the first 20 Corollas to arrive were given the Brotherhood sticker as well as the sticker that James from Eight-Six had made up to commemorate the event, with all proceeds going towards the Japanese Red Cross. We managed to raise over £110 which was good considering the small turnout!

Now I'm not great at putting words down and I'm an even worse photographer, so apologies if the photo's aren't up to the standard of Bambers, but It'll give you a good idea of how the day went down.

Thanks to everyone that helped organise and attended the event, it can only get bigger and better from hereon out!

Now all thats left is to start planning the next one!

Here's a few snaps from the day, with all uploaded pictures in my Flickr Photoset here:
